Shocks

Ride Shocks 2.5" coilover and rear shocks are the core of every suspension kit we build. Engineered from the ground up for off-road performance, every shock features our Dual Piston Adjuster (DPA) — 12-click independent control of both high-speed and low-speed compression. Both adjusters ship at their fully open (softest) setting, giving you the full range of adjustment to firm up as conditions require.

Our custom internal piston design delivers unmatched damping performance across all terrain types. The 6061 billet aluminum shock body resists corrosion in all conditions. Rear shocks include standard shock boots for additional protection against trail debris. Every shock is pre-tuned to a specific vehicle weight range for correct out-of-the-box performance. Every shock is backed by a 3-year / 50,000-mile warranty.

How do I adjust my Ride Shocks DPA adjusters?

Adjustments are made by hand only — never use tools as this may cause damage. Turn clockwise to increase compression (firmer), counterclockwise to decrease (softer). Both adjusters ship fully open (softest setting).

What is the difference between high-speed and low-speed compression adjustment?

Low-speed controls body motion over gradual, smooth bumps — like rolling hills and braking dive. High-speed controls response to sharp, sudden hits like washboard, whoops, and large rocks. Low-speed is the most noticeable adjustment and is most useful when adding weight or doing aggressive off-road driving.

What is a weight range and how do I select the right one?

Each weight range corresponds to a specific amount of added weight over stock. Use the Weight Range Application guide on each product page to match your vehicle trim and total accessory weight to the correct configuration.
