Aftermarket upper control arms are essential for any lift over 2" on an IFS-equipped truck. Factory UCAs limit suspension travel and place excessive stress on CV axles at lifted heights — leading to premature wear, noise, and alignment problems that shorten the life of your drivetrain.

AccuTune Offroad tubular UCAs are the standard in all Ride Shocks complete lift kits. Their FK rod ends are sealed against dirt and debris for long-lasting performance. The tubular steel design provides strength without excessive weight, and every UCA is engineered to maintain proper alignment and support larger tire fitment at your lifted height.

Do I need UCAs if my lift is less than 2"?

For lifts under 2" on stock or lightly modified trucks, factory UCAs may be adequate. For lifts over 2", extended travel coilovers, or trucks running larger tires, aftermarket UCAs are strongly recommended to protect CV axles and allow proper wheel alignment.

Are AccuTune Offroad UCAs included in Ride Shocks lift kits?

Yes — all Ride Shocks complete suspension lift kits include AccuTune Offroad tubular UCAs as a standard component.

What warranty do Ride Shocks carry?

Every Ride Shock comes with a 3-year / 50,000-mile warranty.

Do I need upper control arms?

For lifts over 2" or extended travel coilovers, UCAs are strongly recommended. Our complete kits include AccuTune Offroad UCAs supporting 285/70R17 with proper alignment.

Do I need UCAs for my Bronco suspension upgrade?

For lifts over 2" and when running maximum travel coilovers, aftermarket UCAs are recommended. AccuTune UCAs for the Bronco include caster correction and support up to 37" tires.

Do I need UCAs for my FJ Cruiser lift?
