DPA ADJUSTER TECHNOLOGY
Every Ride Shocks front coilover includes our Dual Piston Adjuster (DPA) — 12 clicks of independent high-speed and low-speed compression control. Both adjusters ship fully open at the softest setting, giving you the full range of adjustment to firm up the ride as your build and terrain demand. Adjustments are hand-only; never use tools on the DPA knobs.

Whether your vehicle is a stock daily driver or loaded with a steel bumper, roof top tent, and drawer system, selecting the correct weight range ensures your front coilovers perform correctly at every point in their travel range — not just when new.

How do I adjust the high-speed and low-speed compression on my Ride Shocks?

Turn the low-speed compression knob to stiffen the shock's response to gradual, rolling terrain or added vehicle weight, and turn the high-speed compression knob to increase bottom-out resistance when driving fast over rough, sharp-edged bumps. From the factory, both adjusters start fully soft (open), so you can add stiffness incrementally until the ride feels right for your driving conditions.
