Ride Shocks for the Toyota Tacoma delivers what the factory suspension never could: weight-specific tuning that actually fits your truck the way you've built it. Whether your Tacoma is bone stock or loaded with a steel bumper, roof top tent, drawer system, and full skid plates, we have a shock configuration engineered precisely for your setup.
Our Tacoma lineup spans multiple generations — the 2005–2015 2nd Gen, the 2016–2023 3rd Gen, and the all-new 2024+ 4th Gen. Each generation has its own suspension geometry, weight distribution, and spring rate requirements, and our shocks are purpose-built for each one.
WHY RIDE SHOCKS ARE DIFFERENT FOR TACOMAS
Every Tacoma Ride Shock ships pre-tuned for your specific vehicle weight range. Our Weight Range Application guide maps your trim, model year, and accessory weight to the correct shock configuration. Front coilovers are fully adjustable for lift height — typically delivering 1.5–2" of lift out of the box with the correct weight range selected. Rear shocks cover a 1–2.5" lift range. Do not exceed or fall below this range or you risk shock damage.
COMPLETE STAGE KITS — EVERYTHING IN ONE BOX
Front coilovers, rear shocks, Deaver leaf springs (5 weight ranges, 9-leaf or 10-leaf, 5160 American-made high-carbon steel), AccuTune Offroad and Ride Shocks tubular UCAs, and the U-Bolt Flip Kit with bump stop — all guaranteed to work together, all shipped together. Fits 285/70R17 tires on 17x9 wheels with 4.5" backspacing with no cab mount chop required.
THE DPA ADJUSTER
Every Ride Shock is equipped with our Dual Piston Adjuster (DPA) — 12-click independent control of both high-speed and low-speed compression. Both adjusters ship fully open (softest setting). Turn low-speed up to reduce bounce over rolling hills. Turn high-speed up when hammering through whoops or running loaded with extra weight. Adjustments are hand-only — never use tools.
